Thankyou for your comment. I have just returned from Italy having tried but failed because of bad weather to do the Monte Rosa curcuit. We did however go back to the Gran Paradiso National Park and went up to the Vittorio Emannuelle Rifugio.Unfortunatley the recent bad weather prevented us going much higher. Still love the area Valley D`Aoste and will keep going back

Thank you for the video. It reminds me of my youth when I made the ascent with the skis (June 1982). The GP is the highest mountain FULLY in Italy. Actually we share the Mount Blanc (Monte Bianco) with France, the Matterhorn (Monte Cervino) and the Rosa Mount (Monte Rosa) with Switzerland as well the full arc of Alps.
