For Tourists: remember, sardinia is not only natural landscapes, but is also 2 of the 14 principal italian cities and metropolitan areas: Cagliari and Sassari! They have so many monuments.. phoenicians, punics, romans, pisans, spanish.. In Cagliari there is an entire district located in the ruins of a castle.. there is the 4th italian port.. there is the "necropolis of tuvixeddu": the largest of the Mediterranean sea.. many ancient churches.. museums and theaters.. renaissance palaces..

I totally understand you ;) Im sardo but i live in germany ;(( And i was in sardinia just 1 week ago, i love this island, the people there are much nicer then germans are, omg i hate germany! try to get a job in an hotel in sardinia! :)

man if i wasn't scared of flyin i'd go back every year....besides my parents and sisters all my family are from sardegna...been there 3times from67 to 81, beautiful girls,great beaches,great food,and the people there really treat you good....if you have a chance give it a try,you won't regret it

I lived there when I was 9 & 10 yrs old back in '67 and '68 across from the beach of Poetto. The best days of my life and hope to return some day. The video is good, but one needs to experience the island in person to fully appreciate its beauty.

Sardinia is the first region of Italy with Piedmont (the kingdom of sardinia conquered all the peninsula in the period called "risorgimento") from that moment was born the state that now call "ITALY" in the same period it was capital TURIN (piedmont) and vicecapital CAGLIARI (sardinia) ps: sorry i don't speak english very well

Sardinia is 100% controlled by italy,Sardinia is a constitutional part of Italy, with a special statute of regional autonomy under the Italian Constitution, it is italy, thats why the postal address are ex 1003 cagliari, italy. Cagliari is a city in sardinia, sardinia is just a provine of italy, just like sicily and tuscany etc. learn your shit.
