Warning2uk, We can assume that you only claimed that "Pope Pius XII was declared 'a Righteous Gentile' by holocaust survivors for the efforts he made on the Jews' behalf" out of ignorance. But in light of the FACT that -despite being the best known "gentile" of the period- Pope Pius XII has never been included among the 22,000 "Righteous Gentiles" who had been recognized by the end of 2007, you need to apologize for claiming the opposite, and never repeat this, or be considered a LIAR!

MyPalAndy and other Catholics quote Emilio Zolli, chief rabbi of Rome during WWII, in defense of Pope Pius XII, without telling people that this rabbi was shuned by the Jews because he abandonned his sheep and was saved by the pope as his sheep were slaughtered. He wasn't so much converted by the Catholic Church as taken in when the Jews threw him out. Google "RCscandal" to see how complicit the Catholic Church was in the Holocaust.
