Italian Turtle

Of the wildlife that can be found at Tenuta San Carlo, turtles are rare to see. They used to exist in abundance, but the increase in a meat eating bird in the area diminished the turtle population greatly. This is a land turtle. We also have water turtles that have more of a bulging and yellowish shell. More at www.tenutasancarlo.com
